Finishing Up Table Two

Starting the week we have marketing that has had great accomplishment with the table tour. Moving it

from location to location has given the Virginia tech community enough insight to start talking about it.

The engravings of the table top and its more finishing touches have been in progress.

As you can see we have the start to the concept of engraving wanted dates and symbols into the table

top. We also have a little bit of final touches to the legs that are being touched on like chiseling of sharp

edges and routing out the foot for the legs to be placed into. Ian and Jalen have been working hard on

these parts and learning a great deal for what to expect moving forward.

We have the start to a lot of finished parts to the final table like my apron shown below. I even have the

parts for the next few tables ready to do as do the rest of the group so we are expecting to handle the

orders we get from the table tour and anyone else that might be interested in one.

We also have the last touches to the table to make it possible for dissembling with the dowels that

Justin is producing and making for the table.

Ethan is moving forward with the third table which will be ribboned the whole way down compared to

the second and first table.
